ABOUT
YASH
High school student at Springdales School, Pusa Road, graduating 2026. Researcher, student leader, innovator, 2D animator, and — most days — someone still figuring out which of those four to lead with.
Identity
Not just a student. A young researcher learning how to make ideas useful.
I work across sustainability, physics, civic design, health technology, student leadership, public speaking, and visual storytelling. The through-line is simple: I like ideas that survive contact with real problems. I don't always know which idea that will be until I've already started building it.
The Story So Far
Awards are the paper trail. This is the actual timeline.
All-Rounder Academic Award, six years running. Nobody tells you that "good at everything" mostly just means you haven't found the one thing yet.
Chandrayaan-3 landed, and so did a Principal's Special Award and a Vision Quest 4 STEM recognition for talking about it afterward. First time I was noticed for thinking out loud instead of just scoring well.
The year everything happened at once: Green Designing of Biomass, Rakṣita, NeuroHealth, the Sanitary Pad Initiative, a Dr. Sharda Agarwal Memorial Running Trophy for Design Thinking, and a 1st in 2D Animation at Flinders University in Australia. Five directions in one calendar year. In hindsight, that wasn't a strategy — it was a refusal to pick just one thing.
Mr. Springdales — a real title, and yes, I'm aware of exactly how that sounds. Currently: university applications, and trying to explain Cosmic Isolation to people who didn't ask.
What the Percentages Don't Show
Field notes, not skill bars.
Good at making a research poster look convincing.
The hypothesis usually got there through stubbornness, not a flash of insight.
Good at public speaking once I'm on stage.
Genuinely nervous every time beforehand. The confidence is rehearsed, not innate.
Good at physics — on paper.
Cosmic Isolation is still "seeking academic collaboration" for a reason. I know the idea further than I know the math.
Good at leading a room.
Still learning the difference between leading it and just talking the loudest in it.
Good at 2D animation.
Started well before the Flinders University award did. Some things you do for years before anyone official notices.
